Description

For our 16th annual Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, Nitsch Engineering is excited to talk about Acoustical Engineering! We’re partnering with Acentech to teach girls how sound works, and how it can be amplified, dampened, or altered using engineering techniques.

When: Friday, April 21, 2017, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Who: Girls from 6th to 12th grade. An adult chaperone is welcome to accompany each girl.
Where: Nutter's office in Boston's Seaport

Attendance is limited, and we sell out every year, so please register here as soon as you know you can make it. When the event fills up, you will be able to sign up to be on the waitlist. All registrations (including waitlist requests) must be received by Friday, April 14th.

Please note that the invitation email you received included a link to new registration forms that must be completed and emailed to aluciano@nitscheng.com by Friday, April 14th. These forms must be completed in addition to signing up on this website.

Extra-Credit Activity
To get a head start on understanding acoustical engineering, we’re asking each girl to complete a crossword puzzle with key terms. This will be sent out to registered attendees one week before the event. Each girl who brings a completed assignment to the event will be eligible to win a prize!
